Maureen Barry brings over 25 years of experience helping business owners achieve their goals. She works closely with privately owned, closely held businesses across industries such as retail, professional services, healthcare, real estate, and start-ups. Maureen’s approach is centered on building strong relationships and understanding the full picture of each client’s needs—from strategic planning to exit strategies. She partners with owners to provide practical guidance on tax planning, accounting, and implementing efficient accounting systems, ensuring that financial decisions align with long-term objectives.
Maureen believes that proactive planning and clear two-way communication are the keys to successful client relationships. Her goal is to simplify tax and company financial decisions and provide actionable strategies that empower business owners to focus on growth and long-term success.

Karen L. Ranick, CPA
Principal
Karen has accumulated over 15 years of accounting experience by working for publicly traded companies, public accounting firms, and small closely held businesses. From Sarbanes‐Oxley testing to financial forecasting to monthly and annual general ledger closings, her background and expertise allows her to understand the financial status of her clients and provide sound business advice. Whether Karen is helping startup companies grow within the business life cycle or supporting the cause of a nonprofit, her clients know that she will use her talents to support their goals and missions through her work.

John Greenling, CPA, MST, MBA
Principal
John has worked in public and private accounting for a multinational firm and a publicly traded company. Through his diverse background, he has gained experience in a wide‐array of tax planning and compliance techniques. John’s practice focuses primarily on corporate, individual and multi‐state taxation, with a special concentration on the industries of construction and real estate. John works closely with the firm’s clients to ensure that they are in compliance with the ever changing tax laws and regulations by providing timely and quality advice. In addition, he advises clients on the tax implications on proposed transactions to insure that all tax consequences are considered when structuring the transaction.

Lynn Haid
Accountant
Lynn has worked with many small businesses doing all aspects of Bookkeeping, including Payroll for 20 + years. Most of her clients were either in the Construction or Real Estate Industry. Prior to that, she worked for several years in the Mortgage Industry. She’s excited to be part of the Green Accounting team and help their clients in any way she can. Lynn has 3 grown children and raised her family in Scott Township, PA.

Anton Shchelchkov
Staff Accountant
Anton is a recent MBA and accounting graduate with experience in the finance industry. Following an internship at a firm in Alabama, he moved up to Brentwood to pursue an accounting career in Pittsburgh. Along with an English degree, he provides well rounded support for Green Accounting's tax and bookkeeping needs. His primary responsibilities include preparing individual and business tax returns for clients, along with assisting with bookkeeping services.
